About Sunset Sailboards

My name is Kevin, and I started Sunset Sailboards in the summer of 2008.  We are a small, one-man show, and we are 100% dedicated to windsurfing.  I started this shop because the San Francisco Bay Area needed a good shop that wasn't overrun by kitesurfing, SUP, surfing, or other sports.  I love a lot of these other sports too, but I wanted to focus this shop on windsurfing.  Too many shops have pushed windsurfing to the background in favor of kites and SUP... I wanted to highlight windsurfing and give it the spotlight it deserves!

I was the the West Coast sales rep for Neil Pryde Windsurfing and JP Australia for four years prior to the birth of Sunset Sailboards, and before that I was the manager for Boardsports, the largest windsurfing retailer in California (which closed shop in 2007).  Perhaps you've seen me around?

You can find me during the week at various sailing spots doing demos and dropping off gear to customers.  If there's anything you need, just drop me a line, and I can meet you at your sailing spot.
